Dr. Fisher received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Loma Linda University School of Nursing. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California where he graduated in the top 10% of his class. Dr. Fisher completed his Internship and Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Vidant Medical Center in North Carolina.

His training background includes three years of General Surgery, as well as four years of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation including electrodiagnostics, general rehabilitation inpatient and outpatient care, pain medicine, occupational medicine and sports medicine. Additionally, he has had training in spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and wound care.

Dr. Fisher provides continuing medical education to healthcare professionals through medical conferences and presentations. He has served patients in both Northern and Southern Nevada. He has treated patients at Advanced Medical Specialists / Concentra, which is an Occupational Medicine based specialty practice in Las Vegas. Dr. Fisher has served as the Medical Director of the Pain Program at Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital in Elko, Nevada. He also served patients at a private practice in Elko, NV.

He currently practices with ALLEGIANT as an Interventional Spine and Pain Management Specialist. He has been trained by the Helms Medical Institute in Medical Acupuncture and offers extensive acupuncture options. In addition, he is a Board Certified Independent Medical Examiner. He performs disability examinations for Veterans in consultation with the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs. Dr. Fisher is a member of the American Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, International Spine Intervention Society, American Academy of Pain Management, American Board of Independent Medical Examiners, American Medical Association, Clark County Medical Society, Nevada State Medical Association and American Mensa.
